I got a text that sent chills to my spine last Saturday. Tin told me that Lea was murdered in South Korea. I could not come into terms with the thought that the once bubbly lady I know is now lifeless, lying cold in a gurney in an autopsy room. She has been one of my technicians in Cebu. She's so full of energy, full of enthusiasm, full of zest for life. I would pray that she finds peace wherver she is.
I still could recall our conversation late last year. I did not even feel that that could be our very last conversation. All I have left of Lea are our endless conversations about what's new in fashion and the works.
My heartfelt condolences goes out to Lea's family and all the loved ones she left behind. I hope her daughter survives this traumatuic experience. I am really moved by this experience. I know how it feels to lose someone you love and hold dearly.
I hope the investigation of the US Government moves fast and that no cover-up will happen. I hope the Philippine government will push for transparency and justice. Lea deserves it.
